An oil on canvas painting done by well known Pennsylvania artist Victor Shearer (American, 1872-1951). A tidy row of trees line a grass edged dirt road. A sun filled field and blue hill or mountain range in the distance. Shearer is known for his depictions of the Pennsylvania countryside. Signed and dated 1939 at lower left. Artwork in frame measures 10.25" x 17.5". Artwork and frame in very good antique condition with only light wear.
