A 19th century American folk watercolor and gouache painting of pink flowers spilling out of a tightly woven Nantucket style handled boat basket. Artwork in frame measures 15" x 18". Artwork is in very good condition for its age with only light foxing at the edge. It was reframed in a period solid wood frame with gold liner. Frame has scattered scuffs and scratches, but still displays beautifully. It is housed under 19th century wavy glass.
