Marian D. Harris (American, 1904-1988) watercolor portrait of a gentleman in suit and tie. Signed and dated 1925 at lower right. Sitter is identified as fellow noted Philadelphia artist Frank Stamato at lower right. Harris was a student of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA) in Philadelphia. Additionally, she studied with Hugh Breckenridge in Gloucester, MA, and Wayman Adams in Elizabethtown, NJ. Artwork in custom gold frame measures 14.25" x 12". Artwork and frame in very good condition with only light wear.
